Book Two in the Love Lines Series

Jessica Yates, Occupational Therapist, yoga instructor, and sometimes babysitter, needs money. Preferably yesterday. True, between her assorted jobs, she can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. Almost cover school loan payments, rent, and her sister’s college fund. Until the new CFO at the hospital where she works terminates her position.  

It’s been ten long years since she made the mistake of accepting help and she’s not about to do it now. Armed with financial data, glowing performance reviews, and enough righteous anger to fuel a jumbo jet’s flight to Bumbang Island, Australia, Jessie storms into the CFO’s office first thing Monday morning. And comes face to face with the man she spent last Friday night with—a one-night stand she planned never to see again. 

Sure, it’s awkward to state her case to a man she last saw in considerably less than the suit and tie he’s wearing now. A man who had her literally begging for his touch. But she’ll give it her best shot, because the bottom line is she needs the money. She needs the money and she’d prefer not to go back to stripping to get it.
